This Privacy Policy explains how Fortune Cookie App (the “Application”), provided by RUSHERS ADR (the “Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use the Application.

The Application is provided as a free mobile application and may display advertising. It also offers an optional one-time purchase to remove ads through Google Play.

1. Information We Collect and Process

Information handled by the Application

Fortune Cookie App does not require you to create an account or sign in.

We do not ask you to provide your name, email address, password, phone number, or other account information in order to use the Application.

The Application may store limited information locally on your device, such as:

• your selected Application language;
• notification permission choices and the locally selected reminder time;
• whether Google Play has confirmed that the Remove Ads Forever purchase is owned;
• other local state required for the Application to work correctly.

This local information is primarily stored on your device. We do not operate a backend server or developer-controlled user database for Fortune Cookie App.

Fortune messages are selected from content bundled with the Application. The Application does not send the fortune you open to a developer-operated server.

Advertising and technical information

The Application uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to display ads to users who have not purchased the ad-free option.

Google Mobile Ads may automatically process information such as:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate a general or approximate location;
• device and advertising identifiers;
• app interactions, such as app launches, taps, ad requests, ad impressions, and video views;
• diagnostic and performance information, such as crash or performance data;
• advertising-related information.

This information may be used by Google for advertising, analytics, security, fraud prevention, and service operation, subject to Google's policies and the user's applicable privacy and advertising choices.

The Application does not request or collect precise GPS location for its core functionality.

Analytics

The Application uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand general Application usage and performance. The Firebase Analytics SDK may automatically process information such as:

• an app-instance identifier and device or advertising identifiers where available and permitted;
• device, operating-system, Application-version, language, and general region information;
• automatically collected usage events, such as first launch, session activity, screen engagement, and ad impressions;
• diagnostic, attribution, and performance-related information.

This information is used for aggregated analytics, measuring engagement and advertising performance, diagnosing issues, and improving the Application. We do not use Firebase Analytics to create a Fortune Cookie App login account or ask users to provide a name or email address.

2. Google Play Billing and Purchases

Fortune Cookie App offers an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase called Remove Ads Forever.

Purchases are processed using Google Play Billing.

When you make a purchase:

• Google Play handles the payment transaction;
• we do not receive or store your full payment card number, bank account details, or Google account password;
• the Application may receive purchase-related information from Google Play, such as the product identifier, purchase status, purchase token, purchase time, and acknowledgement state, as needed to determine whether the ad-free entitlement should be enabled;
• Google Play may associate the purchase with the Google account used for the transaction;
• transaction and order information may be visible to the Service Provider through Google Play Console for purposes such as order management, customer support, refunds, fraud prevention, and entitlement management.

The Application may cache the confirmed ad-free entitlement locally so that a user who has already purchased the product can continue to use the ad-free version while temporarily offline.

If a purchase is refunded or revoked, access to the ad-free entitlement may also be removed after the Application synchronizes with Google Play.

3. Ads and the Ad-Free Purchase

Users who have not purchased Remove Ads Forever may receive advertisements through Google AdMob.

When Google Play confirms that the user owns the ad-free purchase, the Application is designed not to request or display regular ads covered by that purchase.

Please note that Google and its advertising technologies may process data according to their own privacy policies.

4. Approximate Location

Fortune Cookie App does not request precise device location for its normal operation.

However, third-party services such as Google AdMob may use an IP address to infer a general or approximate location for purposes such as advertising, analytics, security, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.

5. Third-Party Services

The Application uses services provided by Google, including:

• Google Play Services
• Google Play Billing
• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads
• Google Analytics for Firebase

These third-party services may collect and process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We encourage users to review these policies for more information about Google's data practices.

6. How Information Is Used

Information processed through the Application and its integrated services may be used to:

• provide and operate the Application;
• display and manage advertising;
• determine whether the user owns the ad-free purchase;
• restore purchases;
• process refunds and entitlement changes;
• prevent fraud and abuse;
• maintain security;
• diagnose technical problems and improve performance;
• measure Application usage, engagement, attribution, and advertising performance;
• comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell user profiles or personal information for money. Advertising and analytics providers may process information as described in this Policy and under their own policies.

7. Data Sharing

We do not operate a backend service that receives a user profile or account database from the Application.

Information may nevertheless be processed or shared with third-party service providers integrated into the Application, particularly Google, where necessary to provide advertising, Google Play services, payment processing, purchase verification, analytics, diagnostics, security, and fraud prevention.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service Provider, or others.

8. Notifications and Sharing

If you enable daily notifications, the Application asks for Android notification permission where required and schedules the reminder locally using the time you select. Fortune Cookie App does not use a developer-operated push-notification server and does not access your contacts or address book for this feature.

If you tap the share button, the Application opens Android's system sharing interface with the fortune text and an Application link. The content is sent only to the app or service you choose, and that recipient processes it under its own privacy policy. Fortune Cookie App does not automatically share fortunes.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Fortune Cookie App does not maintain user accounts.

Local Application data can generally be removed by:

• clearing the Application's storage/data in Android settings; or
• uninstalling the Application.

Android or Google backup/restore features may restore certain non-purchase preferences depending on the user's device and Google account settings. The local Remove Ads entitlement cache is excluded from the Application's configured Android backup rules. Google Play remains authoritative: whenever a purchase query succeeds, the Application updates the local entitlement cache to match Google Play.

Purchase records and transaction information handled by Google Play may be retained by Google according to Google's own policies and legal obligations. Some order information may also remain visible to the Service Provider in Google Play Console for legitimate purposes such as accounting, refunds, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

Analytics, advertising, diagnostic, and transaction information processed by Google is retained according to Google's settings, policies, and legal obligations. The Service Provider may have access to aggregated analytics and advertising reports through Firebase, AdMob, and Google Play Console.

Because we do not maintain a separate user-account database for this Application, there is no Fortune Cookie App account to delete.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled directly by the Application.

Payments are processed by Google Play rather than directly by the Service Provider. Third-party services are responsible for securing the information they process in accordance with their own security practices and privacy policies.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly request names, email addresses, account credentials, or other directly identifying information from children through the Application.

Third-party services used by the Application may process technical information according to their own policies and applicable legal requirements.

12. Your Choices

Depending on your device, region, and Google account settings, you may be able to:

• control or reset your Android advertising identifier;
• manage ad personalization and privacy settings in your Google account or device settings;
• decline or manage consent choices presented by Google or advertising services where applicable;
• clear the Application's local data;
• uninstall the Application;
• request a refund through the applicable Google Play processes, subject to Google Play's policies.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights concerning personal information, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Requests concerning information controlled directly by the Service Provider can be sent to the contact address below. Requests concerning information controlled by Google should be made through Google's available privacy controls and request channels.

13. International Processing

Google and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their handling of information, including international transfers, is governed by their applicable terms, privacy policies, and legal safeguards.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when the Application's functionality, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change.

Any updated version will be published on the privacy policy page with a revised Last updated date.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
